Ong  is a licensed DISC Consultant/Practitioner, a licensed CBCI Trainer/Practitioner, and a certified competency based trainer and assessor.  He has many years of training experience and had conducted workshops and tutorials in Performance Management, Interviewing & Selection, Career Transition & Planning, Personal Motivation & Effectiveness, HR Policies & Practices, and other Human Resource Management Programs.

Ong is also one of the 14 individuals in Singapore to be conferred the title of “Senior Human Resource Professional” (SHRP) by the HR Accreditation Board of Singapore in recognition of his professional competency and development.

Ong has more than 20 years of working experience in HR, plus 12 years of experience as an entrepreneur in manufacturing and real estate. He was previously employed with Deloitte as Director, Executive Recruitment & HR Consulting; Goldworth as Managing Director & Principal Realtor; Philips Petroleum as Regional HR Director; British Petroleum as HR Manager; Kian Cheong Boxes as Managing Director; Boise Cascade/Jurong Plywood as HR &Training Manager; Associated Motor Industries as HR & Training Manager; and Cycle & Carriage as HR & Industrial Relations Executive.  

He was an Employer Panel Member of the Industrial Arbitration Court (IAC), a Board Member of the Adult Education Board and VITB, and a Board Member of the National Employer’s Council.
